Position Overview This position involves leading a team of Finance associates that support global markets in various activities to ensure seamless upkeep of Financial Activities, including P&L and Expense management, Accounts Receivable records, and Accounts Payable. The lead will be responsible for overseeing the deliverables of the team and providing on-ground support to enable all members to achieve the goals set. Mentoring, coaching, and administrative support to the team will be a key responsibility, with the willingness to step in and contribute to times of business need. In addition, this role will be involved in scaling the operations and increasing GCC penetration in global markets.

Responsibilities

Provide a list of key job responsibilities relevant to the position, including how an individual is to perform them and the frequency with which the tasks are performed. The tasks must be part of the job function and truly necessary or required to perform the job. · Oversee the Accounts Receivables deliverables performed in the GCC · Manage escalations and identify process gaps that need to be addressed · Ensure timely completion of tasks with high-quality output · Identify opportunities for cost reduction & revenue improvement · Identify inefficiencies in finance processes & develop improvement roadmaps · Coach and Mentor team members · Create and manage process documentation · Promote synergy in the team to identify scope for standardization · Serve as a financial liaison between operations & Finance to align goals & Execution · Support strategic finance projects such as digitization, centralization, or KPI redesign · Resource management · Collaborate with global markets to increase GCC usage Qualification - Required Skills · Thought leadership and problem-solving skills · Ability to engage with senior leadership to strategize the way forward · Experience in Offshore Transformation · Experience in Operational Finance · Support Budgeting, Forecasting & Long-term planning processes · Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written · An eye for detail and accounting acumen · Detailed understanding of the Accounts Receivable process · Hands-on experience working on client billing tasks, not limited to invoicing, and PO creation · Experience working on a broad range of Financial Activities, including but not limited to FP&A, Month End Close, and Expense Management · Technical understanding of SAP · Experience in working with global markets · Graduate in the Commerce / Finance & Accounting stream Qualifications - Desired Skills

  • Experience in leading a team of over 30 people
  • Process improvement experience in the workstream
  • Ability to multitask and manage parallel tasks
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in the relevant workstream, with at least 5 years
