Role Title: Assistant Manager – Key Account Manager (Flipkart Marketplace) Location: Onsite – Mumbai Salary: ₹16 to ₹20 LPA Experience Required: 2-4 years of experience managing Flipkart Marketplace in a P&L ownership role for a D2C brand, e-commerce platform, FMCG, BPC, or retail organization. Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities
- E-Commerce Sales & Market Growth:
- Manage sales, revenue, and market share within the BPC category on Flipkart for
SUGAR & SUGAR POP brands.
- Develop and execute growth strategies to increase market share and maximize
revenue.
- 2. P&L Ownership & Cost Optimization:
- Maintain full control over the Flipkart portal’s P&L, managing on-platform
expenses and overall business profitability.
- Track and optimize cost of doing business, including commissions, shipping,
packaging, and marketing spend.
- 3. Assortment & Inventory Planning:
- Plan SKU selection, portfolio management, and listing negotiation to maximize
sales potential.
- Manage inventory levels, shipments, and payment reconciliations from Flipkart to
VLPL.
- 4. Performance Marketing & Search Optimization:
- Work with agencies to create a detailed search optimization and performance
marketing strategy.
- Optimize ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) and improve marketing efficiency across
Flipkart.
- 5. Pricing & Promotions Strategy:
- Develop an annual and monthly pricing and promotions strategy aligned with
brand guidelines.
- Execute daily pricing, deals, and promotions, ensuring maximum revenue
generation.
- 6. E-Content & Digital Execution:
- Oversee product display pages (PDPs), creatives, and digital content execution
for high conversion.
- Ensure effective visibility call-outs and impactful social media integrations on
Flipkart.
- 7. Shopper Behavior & Data Analytics:
- Analyze consumer purchase journeys, including how they browse, click, and
convert.
- Track performance and present data insights during monthly meetings and
management reviews.
- 8. Online Events & New Launches:
- Drive 100% execution of new product launches and actively participate in Flipkart
sales events.
- Ensure brand visibility and promotional effectiveness during Flipkart Big Billion Days,
festive sales, and special campaigns.
- 9. Internal Collaboration & Negotiation:
- Work closely with internal marketing, finance, and operations teams to align on
business goals.
- Negotiate better margins, inventory support, and advertising packages with
Flipkart stakeholders. Reporting To: Head of E-Commerce Mandatory Qualifications & Skills
- 2-4 years of experience managing the Flipkart marketplace in a similar role.
- P&L ownership experience for a D2C brand, FMCG, BPC, retail, or e-commerce
organization.
- Strong analytical & negotiation skills to drive business profitability.
- Expertise in Flipkart Seller Central, inventory reconciliation, and performance
